Narcoses

"Narcoses" (Narkozes) is Madara Gruntmane’s first collection of poetry.

Guntars Godiņš: It is fresh, expressive and very open poetry which is inspired not by texts, references and allusions written by somebody else, but by the author’s own experience and feelings. Similar to the Palestinian poet, who was born in Denmark, Yahya Hassan, Madara Gruntmane, too, writes psychologically precise, bitter and direct poems.
